I have an HP Desktop Pavillion P7-1270t Is this card compatible with my computer?

According to the specifications on your computer, you have one PCI-e x16 slot and three PCI-e x1 slots. You can put this card in your PCI-e x16 slot as long as it is not already being used by another add-on card, such as a graphics card. If you look in your computer, the x16 slot is the long slot generally towards the bottom of your graphics card. Pretty much all 4 port USB 3 add-on cards will use 4 or more lanes of PCI-e, as a single PCI-e 2.0 lane is not enough bandwidth to support 4 USB 3 ports without bottlenecking the performance. If you don't want to use your one x16 port though, you can find a 2 port USB 3 add on card.
