Can this be used with Windows 10?

I'm using it with Win10, but I can't really answer the question as the device seems to be slowly failing. It originally could only connect to 2 of the 3 USB jacks, and on the SD card reader. Currently, I can only use 1 of the USB jacks and the DD reader has died.

Question 2

I'm trying to add this usb 3 front panel to my computer.  I'll need to get a USB 3 pci express card and a cable to connect them to go along with this front panel.  any suggestions?

Re: SY-HUB50046. This panel requires BOTH the 20 pin USB 3.0 motherboard and two USB 3.0 rear motherboard out connectors. The question seems to ask which add-on card is needed. I use the 20 pin motherboard connectors AND the rear USB 3.0 connectors. This product is wired that way. Any add-in card must have two active rear USB 3.0 ports and the 20 pin USB 3.0 motherboard connector inside. Other reviews seem to indicate that the internal wiring of this panel is not split eqaually over the three external USB 3.0 connectors and the other card I/Os on separate USB 3.0 connectors . This means that you can't run the USB 3.0 panel connectors on one USB 3.0 motherboard connector and the other card I/O slots on the USB 2.0 external connectors cleanly. If so that would mix up the speeds. The add-on card should have an active internal 20 pin USB 3.0 motherboard type connector and separate rear USB 3.0 out connectors to connect the two external cables. Please review the other remarks on this subject for additional info.

It comes with a USB 3.0 Header that plugs into the motherboard USB 3.0 header, which then activates the right-most USB 3.0 port on the device. There are also two standard USB 3.0 A cables attached that are designed to exit out the back of your case and plugged into two rear ports on your motherboard I/O panel. These two cables enable the two left-most ports on the device. These essentially just relocate USB 3.0 ports form the rear to the front of your case. The cables are permanent, and were sufficient enough length to run all the way to the rear of a 30" rackmount case for me. Hope that helps.

What type of motherboard connector does it have? A 20-pin USB 3.0 or a standard male USB that goes to the back of the case and plus into an external/back USB 3.0 port?

I has a 20-Pin USB 3.0 connector that enables the right-most port on the device, and two standard male USB 3.0 cables that plug into external ports in the rear of the case to relocate two ports in the back to the front. All of the cables are permanent and the male USB cables were long enough to reach from the front of a 30" deep rackmount case to the rear, exiting the case and plug into the motherboard I/O panel.

Do you have to use both connectors? Could you just use the usb 3.0 20 pin and put it straight in the motherboard and not have to use the external usb ports?

I just tried unplugging the two external USB connections.  The left USB3 port and the center USB3 port went dead.  The right USB3 port still works.  I guess that one runs straight to the 20 pin header on the motherboard.  My camera's SD card also works with the two external USB connections unplugged, so I'm guessing the other card readers will work also.

1.  Is this compatible with Asus M2N SLI ACPI BIOS 0802 motherboard and Windows 7?  2.  How does this connect to the system?

Hmm, not sure which M2N motherboard that is. But, the way this connects:

It has a cable with a 1xUSB3.0 20-pin header end, which plugs directly into the motherboard. Not all motherboards come with this header connector.

Then it also has 2xUSB3.0 standard male connectors, which are on longer cables, to plug into the back of our PC.

Overall, this is not for someone that is trying to keep a clean look to their entire case.
