SYBA Connectland Notebook Cooler Pad + 4 Ports USB 2.0 Hub SY-NBCP-4U

Pros: This product provides 4 usb ports (not fully powered) and 3 cooling fans. this thing doesn't use a ac outlet like some cooling pads do it just runs on the usb cord.

Cons: The usb hub isn't fully powered, meaning each usb port does not get the same amount of power that your original usb port provides. this would require a ac adapter. Because of this many products simply will not run with this such as mice, keyboards, and unpowered external hard drives. Also the fans have a major flaw, they come out of the cooling pad and scrape againist the case after some use, so it generates loud noise. also after it scrapes againist the case enough it burns up the motor powering the fans. right now mine only has 1 active fan because the other 2 burnt up. i cut the grids away from the fans and took the fans out and reanchored them with a small dab of glue. Also the usb hub the ports will actually get pushed inside the case because its not mounted properly.

Overall Review: Overall this product isn't worth the money in the long run your best bet would be to get a cooling pad that has a ac plug to provide your hub with full power so you can hook anything up to it.

Overall Review: the fans run super slow, but they move enough air to keep laptop cooler, i only use this when i am playing games or anything else that make the computer run warmer dont be like me and cheap out, pay a little more for something that is going to last, it will be worth it

Pros: cheap. 3 fans. elevates laptop on pads to maintain airspace underneath. 4 usb ports. blue power led. 3 green fan power leds. fairly solid construction.

Cons: fans run very slow and are very weak. placing my hand directly over the fans, i can barely feel the slightest trace of airflow. i dont expect a hurricane, but these fans are virtually useless.

Overall Review: if the fans would produce more airflow, i could easily give this a 5

Pros: Keeps the 17" laptop cool, keeps my wife's lap cool. It does the job of cooling well.

Cons: The quality is cheap. So is the price. Understand that, and you'll know what you're getting.

Overall Review: I expect to have to replace this within a year or two, and it won't bother me to do so. I have higher cooling needs than my wife, and would not necessarily consider this one for those purposes. However, basic cooling happens and the laptop's fan rarely has to get above minimal.

Cons: Got this on sale, went to use it eventually, it fell apart. I mean, it just completely fell apart. Never even did anything with it. I tried using just the USB ports as a hub, they didn't work either. Worthless.

Overall Review: Unfortunately I waited too long to try it, then try to return it to Newegg, as it was already outside of the return period. I bought it for someone else, but then they had already gotten another one elsewhere. Should have tested it right away, but I got it on sale cheap so for the cost to send it back it wouldn't have been worth it anyway. To the company under their "warranty" either. Especially since I tried returning another one that broke to them, just for them to claim they never received it, wasting money shipping it. You get what you pay for.

Pros: super cheap, free delivery.. and it does come with 4 usb ports.

Cons: loud! weak fan speed! i get around 85c playing game without this and 81c with this. 4c isn't much to brag about

Cons: You need 2 USB ports for this to run, and they are on the right side which can be annoying if your laptop is like mine and only has one on the side. The pad is SMALL. This thing is probably built for netbooks that are getting a little bit warm for your great grandmother's laptop. That being said it IS cheap

Overall Review: The bottom of this thing gets hot. Honestly my gateway fx 7805u feels ready to burn right through this.

Pros: Very light, very thin, and very low power comsumption.

Cons: Little weak, if you were to drop your laptop bag with it facing down... it would probably crack. But I bet it would still work!

Overall Review: The fans tend to start off VERY slow. But give them 30 seconds or so and they spool up. Probably due to the lower power consumption and the cheap fans, but they get moving pretty good. They do also start up a bit uneven, one will be rockin' while the others are barely spinning. Overall, very good for the price.
