Can I purchase this subscription now to begin when my Norton Internet Security expires in 100 days?

I am not totally certain but IIRC, No.  Norton considers this a new install and not a renewal of an existing install.  I usually wait until I have a few days left before I install the new subscription but since I only do this once per year I can't remember for certain.   I hold a new one sometimes for months before my existing subscription expires.

Does the product have a firewall?

Not sure exactly what you mean. This product IS a firewall to control outside internet traffic from impacting your PCs or servers. Is it an internet firewall at the modem or router level? Not sure but it will protect any device on your network!

Is there a disk version or download only?

All of the versions are download to get the software. The so called "download" version is an e-mail sent to you with the product key and a link to Norton to download. The "boxed" or "retail" version is a box mailed to you with a product key card inside and instructions to download from Norton. They quit putting the CD's inside the box some time ago.

Do I have to uninstall Norton 360 to install Norton Security Premium?

When you install Norton Security, it should remove any previous versions of Norton software. However,  I strongly recommend that you go to the Norton support web site and download the Norton Clean Tool and run it first. It will automatically remove any previous version of Norton Software. DO NOT run or have on your computer multiple versions of Norton software, and especially don't have on your computer different brands of firewall/antivirus software. They  tend to have a turf war on your hard drive resulting in a lot of heartburn for you.

can I buy 2 cards and save one for next year when it is time to renew????

YES.  I've being buying them on sale for several years now and using them sometimes a year and a half later as needed.  Remember your Norton email and pass  because it lists your devices on line as you use them and you can cancel any one and assign it to another device if needed. The only draw back of buying a 3, 5 or 10 device Norton is all of them start there year when the first one is activated for that card. So you need to use them all if possible .On sale they're so cheap at three or three fifty a device it really doesn't matter.

Is this the 2017 version?

Norton doesn't seem to produce "annual" versions anymore. Purchasing the product gives you a year of updates. It will be good for a year after you activate it. As far as I can tell, it should continue to work after that for old threats but without updates, you won't be protected from newly identified ones.

Does this product get rid of a pre-existing virus or malware?

If the malware does not block installation, this product may be able to get rid of a pre-existing infection. Once you have the license you also have access to some other Norton malware removal tools.

However, I would recommend the free, 30-day trial of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to identify and remove any existing malware. Malwarebytes has a better reputation for malware removal but not as good for protection.

I believe the Norton suite provides better protection than it does removal.  I have it installed on all 9 of the computers I own.

Is this a 2016 version if Security Premium???

It doesn't matter.  You can install and update to the newest version IF Norton has not changed the basic program and is using a new product name.

If I were to buy this program, does that mean that I would buy 10 key for 40$ or do I have to pay 40% for each key?
