I have not tried this directly with square but I do use this with many programs and have not had any problem at all. This is a very nice scanner and works great

Say I scan in 200 items.  Can I then transfer those to an Excel spreadsheet, populating 200 cells?

No, this device does not have storage. You use it instead of manual entry directly into your spreadsheet one cell at a time.

I bought this scanner recently, in which I have used scanners before.  However I cannot get this one to work. I have Googled, and read the set-up manual over and over. The scanner beeps, but will not work with my Windows 10.  And that is my question.  Does this scanner support Windows 10?  The only thing I have read is that it supports Windows.
Also, when it scans barcodes, it stops beeping and just dies.  I have had it plugged in for a few days, and haven't even used it unplugged yet! Got any answers?

WHILE I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY GOTTEN THIS SCANNER TO WORK, IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE SOFTWARE PACKAGE I AM TRYING TO USE IT WITH. INSTRUCTIONS AND DIRECTIONS ARE SKETCHY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT ISN'T MUCH HELP.

The best way to confirm specs is actually by checking the manufacturer's website (that's where we get them). Click on the Specifications tab on the item page, and look in the Quick Info box on the bottom of the page. Does this have the ability to output only lower case alpha characters? In other words, If I scan a bar code that is all upper case, can I program the scanner to output just lower case. Thank you for your time, Neil

No, there is no case conversion available.

Does this device function thru the keyboard interface. Specifically, can I position to an open text field in a webpage (on the android phone), hit the scan button and have the scanned code populate into the text field?

Yes, it simply enters the code into whatever entry field is active (as if you typed it into the keyboard).
