Question 1

Does this charger have a slide switch for selecting the voltage? Or are there voltage programming resistors in the heads? Or is it just 19 volts, which is so common these days?

Well, I ordered one. Seems like Targus has a good quality control program,  seeing as there was only %3 DOA claim here and even that guy's lasted two weeks. It will be interesting to see the certifications and efficiency level, if it has that info.

Does this charger come with a tip for Samsung ?

There are many different sized tips used.  I do not know what Samsung you have.  Take your Samsung into an electronics store and check the size of a mating connector, or accurately measure it yourself.  You must also determine whether the center pin is positive or negative polarity.  The polarity is probably shown on the Samsung charger.  Chances are that the charger will work, if the Samsung is a laptop.  I use the charger on  Lenovo.

Question 3

I went to the Targus website, put in this Targus charger, and then went to the tip configurator and it said my laptop, an HP DV6-3000 would need a "Q" tip that is NOT included with this charger. Is that correct? The spec page for this charger does not identify by letter the tips that are included.

Paul: That is correct, however I believe that if you contact Targus direct they will sent you the tip you need at no cost. Hope this helps.

Can this be used with samsung chromebook?

I do not know anything about the Samsung Chromebook.  The B90 charger works well on my Lenovo G770 Laptop.

I can't seem to find any documentation for this adapter. Online I found a "tip" guide that suggested "tip 202" for my companies Dell D630 but these tips aren't numbered like that. They're "A", "B", "C"... so on and so forth.

Does anyone have an owner's manual for these things? Or just a PDF tip guide? I can't find any.

hi Brian this has the 7 most popular adapters including Acer which I use and I also use thethe Dell adapter for my 17 inch notebook I'm pretty sure that Dell for your Dell. and oddly enough the Dell is labeled the "D" adapter and if ever need an acer adapter, that one is conveniently labeled "A"... hahaha, enjoy, Jeff.

Can I use this for HP Pavilion 14-b017cl 14" Sleekbook Laptop??
I already have a universal charger and according to specification the pin should fit but due to thick plastic around the pin it could not go inside enough to charge my hp laptop..please let me know if this product will charge properly for my HP Pavilion 14-b017cl 14" Sleekbook Laptop.

Since I don't have an HP to test it on I can't say for sure. But I can say that it has worked on a dell and an thinkpad. It's not expensive so I would give it a try since it says it will work.

I am sorry, I cannot answer this question.  I purchased this charger for one of my patients who could not afford a new charger.  When I saw this unit I jumped on it because of the price, manufacturer and the great versatility of this unit.  The day after I gave it to her she told me it worked great on her laptop and her sisters laptop, so she was very happy with it.

I would assume yes. It works fantastic and has steady ample power. It comes with a slew of universal adapters. I use it across a mess of laptops and the only ones I've had issues with are Sony Vivo.

Will this product work with a Toshiba Satellite model# A135-S4527?

Yes it should, I have a Toshiba laptop of simular model and one of the plugs works very nicely.   But without seeing and trying it I can't be 100%   Hope that helps.
