Question 1

Do this unit keep the water warm (approximately 160 degree) after boiling point?    Or just lets the water cool down again where you have to re-boil it?

If I understand correctly it does not keep it warm. It gets it to the max temperature and turns off the switch. It makes a click. You would turn it back on to reheat.

I have looked all over the box, literature and contents, and could not find the country of origin anywhere.

Is there an external water level indicator, maybe in the handle assembly, or must you open the lid and peer inside to see how much water there is?  I cant't tell from the pictures and there is no mention of one in the product description.

No external water level however there is water level in side the container.

Question 4

So how does 120 volt get to a Cordless Kettle? or is this just a pot with a hot plate as a heating source? like any carafe?

The base sits on the counter and plugs into the wall socket.  There are two protected contacts in the base that connect to two mating contacts in the bottom of the caraf when it is placed on the base.  Just lift the caraf off the base when the water is heated, and it becomes a cordless caraf.  Easy Peasy!

Would you tell me the specification of the stainless steel? 304? 306? 205?

It's austenitic stainless steel. Martensitic SS is too expensive and too hard.
