Outdoor sensor is water resistant, not waterproof. To extend its life, please place the sensor in an area that can protect it from direct weather elements.
Do not mount near electrical wires, transmitting antennas or other items that will interfere with the signal.
How to place the outdoor sensor?(Very Important)
1.Place the sensor horizontally, meanwhile, please place the sensor at a height of 2-2.5 meters in the air for a strong RF (radio frequency) signal.
2.Avoid more than one wall between the outdoor sensor and the indoor weather station.
3.Do not mount the outdoor sensor on a metal fence. This significantly reduces the effective range.
How to get the more accurate readings?(Very Important)
BALDR sensors aresensitive to surrounding environmental conditions. Proper placement of both the main unit and outdoor sensor are critical to the accuracyand performance of this product.
Protect the outdoor sensor from standing rain or snow and from the overhead sun, which can cause it to read incorrectly.

Displays the past 24 hours MAX/MIN temp and humid records and trend indicators, keeping you be aware of the changes in your living conditions to make necessary adjustments.
Big Reading Displays
This outdoor thermometer for home with temperature sensor provides accurate & big humidity and temperature numbers, accuracy is up to ±2°F and ±2~3%RH.
Weather Forecast
The weather icon display is based on the hourly calculation of indoor/outdoor temperature & humidity and barometer data. The weather forecast is for the next 12 hours.
Battery-powered Weather Station
- Use Alkaline or Lithium batteries in the outdoor sensor.
- A minimum voltage of 1.5V for each battery is necessary for proper performance.
- Use batteries dated at least six years in advance of the current year. Batteries dated earlier than six years from now may still work, but may be unstable in performance.
