are these discs white printable?

I am not sure what white printable means, but I have found thst most TDK diccs are the best ones that I have ever used.

Question 2

Can these cdr's be used for burning music? I have bought some before (although not TDK) and they are not music adaptable for some reason. Thanks.

These CDRs can be used for burning music.  I do it all the time, so I can listen to the music in my car's CD player.

If you have the music stored in FLAC or SHN form, you will have to convert the files to WAV files first (before you burn them) so the CDRs can be played in a CD player.

I'm not positive, but I would assume MP3 files would also have to be converted  to WAV files first so they can be played on a CD player.

Do these have a white surface to write on?

No, it is grew/silver but you can write on them with a fine line permanent black marker.  We use ours to record our church services and make labels for them.  But if there are times, a label is not needed, I just write on them.
