Pros: It was cheap for 32GB.

Cons: Died in 6 months.

Overall Review: Update: Team Group followed up with an email a few days later providing a US return address. Mailed off the failed card in a plain envelope and received a new replacement relatively quickly. Revised rating up to 3 eggs for the great customer service response.

Card was never very fast, but I didn't need the speed so it was a good deal at the time. However now at exactly 6 months after purchase the card has died. Can't be read or formatted by PC, phone or tablet. The packaging says it has a lifetime warranty, but when you fill out the RMA form, they want you to mail it to Taiwan using registered mail. Obviously that'll cost way more than the card is worth so the warranty is pretty much worthless for US customers. I've had other brands fail and at least you could mail it to a US address in a normal envelope for the cost of a stamp. Don't trust this with your data or expect any warranty unless you live in Taiwan.

Pros: Installed in my Moto e5 phone to increase storage. Mounted and recognized with no problem.

Cons: None yet. Just got it so I don't know how long it will last.

Overall Review: This seems to work fine so far for a phone. No idea how it would work with video or photography. Fine for what I needed it for. Bought it on sale primarily for the price. I wasn't looking for extreme performance.

Solid memory card for Fire tablets 5/24/2020 9:22:42 AM

Pros: My wife bought our two youngest grandsons each 8" kids Fire tablets to learn with and play on. Those two little buggers maxed out the onboard memory in two days with apps and games. Told my wife that these were available at a decent price and bought three of the 64GB ones, one each for the little guys and one for her 10" Fire. I installed a Team Group 128GB Color card in my 10" tablet a while ago and have had no problems with it, so choosing more of the same was an easy decision.

Cons: Fire tablets can be finicky about formatting new memory cards indicating that the card is "incompatible," or other such message. This doesn't necessarily indicate a problem with the card you just have to force the tablet to format the new card. Had to go through memory card set up 2-3 times before the kid versions were done. The kid version of the Fire tablets gave me a few fits but the other "regular" ones didn't, accepting the cards and allowing formatting almost immediately. Don't think it's a problem with the Team Group Color series, just a set-up hitch in some of the newer Fire tablets.

Overall Review: Fire tablets aren't the fastest devices out there but the four I've installed these Color series memory cards in work like they're supposed to, without complaint or hiccups. I would definitely buy these again for this application and use. The extra 128GB Color card I have went into my camera bag as it works with my Canon Rebel T6.

Overall Review: I bought a couple of these cards to use with my Raspberry Pi 4 because I like to play around with the different Pi 4 OS releases and don't want to sacrifice my Raspbian Buster SD card. I haven't experienced any problems with Teamgroup products.

Pros: - Large capacity and low cost
- Works as expected after formatting from exFat (default) to Fat32 (no errors)

Cons: - Not compatible with my PC's SDXC card to USB reader. Formatting would produce lots of errors using that card reader. My laptop's SD card reader works fine for these.

Overall Review: For the Switch, remember to format it to Fat32 prior to use because exFat is known to cause corruption. If you are getting i/o errors, try a different SD card reader/computer.

Cons: The card will not format. It originally came formatted. I put it in my Nintendo Switch and started to download a game, everything seemed fine. After about 15-20 minutes all I get are errors, saying that there is something wrong with the card. I tried to format it on my Windows PC, Linux workstation, Pentax DSLR, and Nintendo Switch. All devices say that there is an error with the card. Whenever it's inserted into my PC it freezes it until I take it out again. DO NOT BUY. This is the second one I got that did the same thing. Filing for RMA after this review.

Overall Review: Don't buy it. Look elsewhere.
