Can I use this SSD to expand storage for my games?

yes you could use it as a storage drive.  i use a different teamforce 1TB ssd  for game storage in my desktop but any hdd or ssd can be used stricktly for storage.  in my desktop i have 1 8TB HDD , a 1TB ssd, and a 256GB ssd all storage.  you could even put this ssd into an external enclosure and use it as a portable.
