Can I use this SSD as a backup or storage drive?

Yeah, you totally can. I've purchased about 50 units from this line. And about 2-4 of them have failed after a few months. So as is standard best practice, be sure to have extra drives for parity.

How does this compare to the Team Group EX2 line?

You'd be best suited looking to Tom's Hardware or other reviewers if you want hard numbers. What I *can* say though is that this drive has been my 'Games' drive in my PC (vs my default boot 'OS' drive) for quite a while now and has performed wonderfully for me.

How does this drive work as a boot drive?
Also, how does it run (write/read) when it's like more than 60% full?

Thank you for contacting TEAMGROUP customer service.

The SSD as a boot drive is much faster compared to HDD. When the computer is under a heavy workload and more data is stored on SSD, during the process, the computer may take more time to perform tasks such as multitasking or data transfer/management, which will temporarily affect the SSD speed. If the SSD is running in the background(e.g. Garbage collection, wear leveling, Read retry), therefore, it is normal for the SSD to sometimes slow down temporarily during the reading and writing process.
