Question 1

I just asked the question about write speeds and readyboost. I reformated one of the slow drives so readyboost is now an option, but actually none of my flashdrives have it enabled so it wasnt doing anything. Write speed did not increase for the drive, so still wondering what to do about them?

Readyboost does not speed up the transfer rate of the flashdrive.  It uses your flashdrive space as a form of temporary storage for applications on your computer in the same way RAM does.  It will load basic information for the applications on your flashdrive so that the processor does not have to do all of the work to search for that info when you tell it to execute the program.

In reference to USB speed, the port you are connecting it to, how many devices are connected through USB, and the amount of power that your USB ports can handle will all affect the transfer rate.

Question 2

bought one of these a few months ago, very fast in 2.0 (write speeds up to 20 MB). Bought 2 more recently, both have slow write speeds. All are Fat32. Clicking on Properties to compare them, I see the earlier fast one can be used with Windows "Ready Boost" but the two new ones cannot. I assume that's why the first is much faster. Any idea if this can be fixed?

didnt change things. They work fine otherwise, but I mainly got them because I thought they would be as faster than usb 2 flashes.

Question 3

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this fits in the ps4 usb slots? I heard that some flash drives are not fitting in the ps4 slots because its not thin enough. Any help is appreciated.

Is this compatible with Mac? It didn't say on the website.

Can't say, I use Windows.   I'm sure once used in Mac it will be fine.
