No but Macrium Reflect is an excellent FREE program my brother, a network engineer, recommended. I use it to clone my old drives to SSD. It is easy to use, u just have to pay attention to what u are cloning or might select the wrong partition and get stumped for a moment.

Yes, as long as your PC has sata power and data cables. Also some cases need an SSD adaptor to mount the unit effectively.

I have an over the air tv tuner I hook a hard drive up to for DVR. I currently use a WD black standard hdd, will this SSD support DVR functionality?

I can't say for certain but I would be surprised if DVR software is particular about storage specs. Since SSD access times are way faster than rotational drives (which is probably your current drive type, you should be fine.) The one thing I would watch out for is wear out. SSDs have a life span and if you are constantly writing to it, the drive may wear out faster than you think. But even here i think you would be fine for at least a couple of years.  Whatever replacement drive you choose, I suppose there must be some instructions about how to replace the current drive. Find those and instructions and read before you buy. I think you will find that you will have no issues.

Subsequent SATA interfaces are backward compatible with preceding generations so, yes, SATA III drives will work when connected to SATA II or SATA I interfaces. Keep in mind the drive will be limited to SATA II interface speeds in your case (SATA II supports up to 300MB/s)

What is this SSD's Controller?
I found controller's name - sv58h, but I couldn't find information about it.

An overclocker review done in July shows the inside of a 240GB version and it had a SMI 2258G controller.  That's the same controller used in ADATA's SU800 among others and assuming the 480GB uses the same parts, that's probably the best thing about this drive.  The 2258G supports LDPC error correction, data shaping & NANDextend all of which can double the useful lifespan of the NAND memory in the drive.  the 1000000 hours MTBF is low compared to other drives and may indicate other components may be of lower quality

Yes. It uses the SMI SM2258 controller with DRAM. The one I received specifically had 512MB of Micron DDR3L.
