Can this item be hooked to key chain?

Yes, you can hook this to a key chain.  Although it's hard to see from the picture, there is a arched-shaped hole in the black area on one end of the drive.  I'd suggest connecting a small loop then connecting that to the actual key chain.  You could also connect this to a lanyard.  Hope that this helps.  Dan
