Friendly TOS Operation System

F2-220 runs Linux-based TerraMaster TOS operation system. As TOS interface is simple and friendly, any new users can easily get started.

TerraMaster F2-220 adopts Intel Celeron 2.41GHz dual core CPU (overclocked to 2.58GHz ) and is equipped with 2GB Ram with high operation efficiency, several tasks of simultaneous processing as well as file read/write speed of more than 100MB/S.

1. It supports single hard drive with capacity of 8TB and maximum capacity up to 16TB, which can permanently store family photograph, recording video and other data.

2. Multiple modes including RAID1, RAID0, JBOD and Single Disk are supported and it can guarantee the full safety of storage data in RAID1 mode.

2. It has lots of networking protocols including SMB, AFP, NFS, ISCSI and FTP and can provide users with expedient and quick operation of exchange on various devices to share document data.

It supports account creating management for up to 1000+ users that can easily configure different access permissions to each user's exclusive folders and shared folders, which is convenient to manage and maintain for data based on RBAC grade authorization management, improving work efficiency for manager and ensuring the security of company's data.

F2-220 provides two kinds of remote login ways: one for TNAS.online and the other for DDNS. The users can set up devices as personal cloud storage and remote login through computer or mobile application.

You can use devices with DLNA/UPNP/Plex support (including mobile, plat, intelligent TV, sony ps3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Hi-Fi system) to play HD video, music and photos stored in NAS. It still can support iTunes server.

F2-220 supports Dropbox cloud storage synchronization, which can synchronize file in the Dropbox directory with TerraMaster TNAS, making file sharing more easy and efficient!

With green energy-saving design, the power consumption of F2-220 is only 17W in the operation status and just 2W in standby. Once the device has no operation task in 10 minutes, the hard drive will automatically sleep, which reduces the power dissipation and extend the usage life of the hard drive.
