You have to use an external. A lot of newer laptops are going to this as its becoming less and less necessary to use a dvd drive.

Yes but only one ram slot and it is located under the keyboard so a litle more complicated to switch. I replaced with a 8gig 1600

You could use Google Chrome or another browser instead of Internet Explorer. Bing is just a search engine, it's not tied to the operating system. You can also remove Windows entirely and use something else, such as a Linux distribution.

just press the little button on the side of the computer and it springs open! Plays both DVDs and CDs
To enable the driver, go to control panel and type in the word driver in the window on the top right. Choose the DVD driver and right click on it and press enable.
