Thermalright's HR-05-SLI copper heatsink has a spectacularly efficient heatpipe and fin design that eliminates the need for a fan. Designed for SLI/Crossfire systems it provides highly efficient chipset cooling, even over two boards.
The 30 x 30mm copper base has dual heat pipes that rise up through a series of copper fins for increased heat radiation. The fins have a proprietary hole design to improve ventilation efficiency. The whole unit is nickel plated for an attractive look and corrosion resistance. Further cooling efficiency can be achieved with the addition of a regular 70mm fan (optional) to the fins.
