How thick is it?

This fan is 25mm thick  ( 15/16th's of an inch - just under one inch thick ).  This fan moves a lot of air and is somewhat loud, but it's a great fan and I have been buying them for system builds for years.  This fan runs at around 2300rpms.  If you are going to use this for a cpu case fan and don't need such high airflow, you might want a speed controller to drop down the speed to around 1300 to 1500 rpms.

Question 2

The image shows 3 pin but the specs say 4 pin power connector which one is it?

It is three pin although it comes with a molex adapter. I had an issue with one of the leads coming loose upon installation and had to splice it and hard-wire it in. Other than that it is the best for the price and still running fine a year later. It is quiet for its RPM and even self adjusts in linux.

Question 3

What fan do I need to buy to replace a Thermaltake cpu fan, model number Martech DF0701512RFMN. This fits a AMD A3 socket and has a 3 prong plug in. And can I buy just the fan not the heat sink?

In general, cpu fans are either 60mm or 80 mm, but that's not written in stone. measure the one you have.  You shouldn't have a problem with the connector, most of them are the same.  If it was me, I'd replace the heatsink along with the fan, its not much more compared to the cost of screwing it up.  Thermaltake is really good stuff, Martech is run-of the mill.   CPU protection and power supplies should always be higher quality, they will make or break a system quickly.  Check youtube for help replacing stuff. Good luck.
