Is it possible to mount radiator in basement with the power supply and the drive cage in there as well?

No, it will be too crowded. You can take the tri-fan case mount out, mount a modular power supply and a radiator 280 or smaller in there effectively.

Due to its height, you will need longer hoses for a cpu water cooler. Vga makes more sense for the bottom. But moving the drive cage down there would cause an issue with the cables for sure.

will this case support Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 Extreme Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm (CW-9060025-WW) ?

This case supports almost all AIO water coolers. You can fit that specific one on the top. You might be able to mount it to the front, if the tubes can reach that far.

Question 3

According to buildapc, "Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 8GB G1 Gaming Video Card" might not fit because it can get in the way of other drives. Is this the case?

Yes and no at the same time. There is, however, a reason I say this. The biggest appeal of this case for a lot of people, myself included, is the extent at which it can be customized at a low price point. If you need the additional drive cages you run the risk of not being able to fit everything else you need quite as cleanly as you would like. However, the drive cages can be VERY easily be removed with a release mech, and you can remove the rail with 2 screws. That does not leave you without ANY room for drives. On the other side of where the drive cage would sit, behind the side panel, lies 2 hard drive/SSD caddies to use as you please. There is *also* another drive caddie behind the motherboard tray. Without the visible drive bays it is possible to still have 3 drives installed. I have an SSD hidden away behind the motherboard and 2 hard drives in the other caddies. Hope this helps!

Hey there,

I'm looking into getting this case but there is one thing that just might break the deal for me, what is the case constructed out of? Is it steel/aluminum construction? The reason I ask is because my internal LED lighting strips are magnetized. The Newegg specs doesn't give insight into this, I'll go check the manufacturer website but hopefully my question can be answered here if the website does not provide the info either.

Hello, I just picked up this case,  The case is Steel, a magnet will connect/stick to it.

Side note. the case is huge. if you want to run your power supply in the basement you will need a longer EATX12V cable.

Is there a dedicated pump or red mount anywhere on this?

There Is no designated spots for them, no. But there is a large amount of room and spaces where they can be put. In the case of a resivour the area where the 3.5 and 5.25 inch bays are located when shipped make a great area for a resivour, as well as a push/pull configuration on a radiator. For pumps there is a metric ton of places in the basement area of the case that can be used.

Question 6

I'm looking into purchasing this case for a custom-loop watercooled build, and I'm curious about specific radiator placement compatibility.

What I want to do is put a 360 rad in the basement on the bracket, a 420 rad on the front, and either a 360, 420, or a double-200 rad on the top (yes, I know that double-200 isn't officially supported, and may require modding).  I don't see anything saying one way or another whether a rad in the basement and/or the roof would prevent a triple rad from being on the front, but I want to be sure.

My question, then, is can I have a rad in the basement, on the front AND on the roof?

Yes you can, the rad in the lower section you can push towards the back of the case, just be aware that you'll have about 2" of space to put one on the front so rad thickness will come into play. As far as the top goes, you'll either need a really thin rad or mount the fans outside on the top. Not a lot of room before it will interfere with the motherboard. But yes, you can mount 3 rads in this case without modding it if you're careful.

I have a rog strix z270E mobo does nayone know a good 1000W PSU for this case?

I have an EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 in my X71, but I am powering a 1080, dual custom water loops with12 RGB thermaltake compression fittings, 8 RGB fans,  and plans for other peripherals. This power supply may be overkill depending on your plans for a build. This has been an excellent pus and I highly recommend it.

I am planning to put a 480mm raidator in the front of the case, will i still be able to use the 2 drive bays?

You might be able to use the (2) 5.25 drive bays, depending on which manufacturer you use for your rads. If you're asking about the drive cages for the HDD/SSDs, you just have to move the drive cages back a bit.

Does this case have screw slots ready for EATX build?  I understand this case is BIG.

If your asking about the screws that mount the motherboard an EATX board has the same configuration as a ATX board just 3/8" wider. Screw holes are the same. Hope this helped.

Is this case EATX compatible it list that it's not in the specs but being a full tower case I have really hard time believing that isn't compatible.Anyone know for sure?

I just bought this case and believe me, it will fit an EATX board. It's only a little over 3/8" wider, it will just cover more of the access holes but would be fine.
