to the lights show up both, when you have them as intake, and outake, or just one side?

As shown in the picture, the light ring sits on top where the logo is. So if the fan was mounted in the front of the PC, the airflow would be coming into the PC.

Does the low noise adapter that comes with the fan make the LED's less bright?

Short answer is no. I have my Riing fans running off the pwm fan hub in my case that is connected to the pwm on my mb. While the fans vary in speed, they never dim or brighten. I have not used the low noise adapter, but result should be the same. Hope this helps.

i was wondering if i could use these as an intake fan on the top of my NZXT h440 case?

If the case now has 120mm fans then yes these can be used to replace the standard case fans. These are designed to be Static Pressure fans, used on radiators. I have personally replaced all of the fans on my Corsair Air 540 with Tt Riing RGB fans. Did not negatively impact system temps at all.

Is this product compatible with corsair h100i gtx radiator cooling system?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  I have a few of SP120 fans as well as these Riing fans.  They are both standard sized 120mm fans.  The Riing 12's may be slightly thicker at their mounting points due to the padding around the corners.  Either way they are very close to the standard thickness of 25mm.

Is this product compatible with the Thermaltake TT Sync SATA Powered 9 Port Addressable LED Controller TT Premium Edition?

It’s compatible to the point where you can plug the fan into the controller and control fan speed but the color can not be controlled. It only has a white LED in it which is sourced in one part of the ring and reflexes throughout the circle. So the ring has asymmetrical lighting to it which I personally wasn’t crazy about when it came to the appearance of it.

what is the actuall mm h2o rating on these fans ?

The back of the box states a static pressure rating of 0.57 to 2.01 mm-H20 for the 120mm Riing, depending upon the RPM.
