That's a 775 socket. So yes it will.

is this the same as fan #8WT15-38?

I would say yes, I believe it is. The only negative that can say about these coolers is that they are 3 pin connectors. So they are on full-speed all the time. If that is a problem for you? You should buy the Masscool 8WT15-17. That is a 4 pin which will regulate the speed and extend the fan life.I have one, it is very quiet.
