Overall Review: I had an Athlon XP 2900 (yes, a 2900) with a heat problem. 60 degress C. under light load with stock fan and Arctic Silver 5. This brought it to 49 C. Color me surprised. Will be ordering many more of these and related products from Thermaltake. Always use Fed-X!

Pros: I have my Athlon XP 2500+ for 3 years now, but I never thought about going with a better fan other than a stock one. With this magic fan I am on 3200+ and I can regulate rpm. I love this thing!

Cons: Didn't notice a difference in the CPU temp after i installed this fan. Sounds like a blow dryer when you have it on full settings.

Pros: Really cools well, temp control setting, two rheostats, well built. No problems so far. Well worth the money.

Cons: Fan is a little noisy at times (under full load using the temp sensor fan controller), but it's in a server and I'm used to the noise. Base of the heatsink could have been polished a little better, but regardless it works darn well.

Overall Review: I put this on a 1 Ghz AMD Duron (Server) that was running too hot for my comfort. It never gets over 36 C now, and before it was edging up to 60 C, which was, well...bad IMO. As always, fast service from Newegg, Thanks again.

Pros: I just installed this on an XP3000+/ Gigabyte GA-7N4005 MB combination. It has been running about 20 min and the idling temp is 120-122F..Running an Aquamark 3 test only raised it to 126F...This may not seem very impressive, but I have tried a hand lapped giant name brand heatsink (the one with the fan that blows directly out the back) and a stock AMD heatsink with a replacement 5000rpm fan. Both were installed several times using Arctic Silver and the best temps I could get were in the mid 130's. It was even going as high as 145F under light load. The Thermaltake dropped the temp 15F ....Best results I have ever had.

Cons: Difficult to install- had to pull the MB to get it on and the first clip was barely wide enough to hook up. Yeah, its loud too, but loud is better than hot.

Overall Review: Going to buy three more of these when I upgrade my grankids' computers with faster CPUs.

Cons: none really. it is a bit loud, but for its size and how much air it is pushing at that speed....

Overall Review: it is loud when turned up enough to be comparable with other larger HSF combo's, but it is not it's fault. it is half the size of those larger HSF's so I think it does well while still fitting in a small/cramped case. use this HSF for what it was designed. don't try to use a screw driver to hammer in a nail.

Pros: I've had this for about a year. Even in the hot new england months, I haven't ever needed to turn it up to high. It is quiet when it's low. I like it!

Cons: Not compatible with my new AMD I just bought :(

Pros: I use these for all my customer's computers. I have lost count how many of these I have bought (and only form Newegg). Great cooling, very powerful fan. I have yet to fine a better Socket A cooler ever!

Cons: Like everyone else says it can get a little noisy at full speed, but I would rather have a nice cool running PC then a quiet one (IMO).
