Will this cpu cooler fits on my z170 ?

This question would be better answered by your motherboard manufacturer. Technically, this cooler will fit all i7 processors, but there are sometimes issues with placement of ram and cooling devices on specific motherboards. In addition, this thing is HUGE and potentially LOUD. minimum fan speed is 1200 rpm and we are talking two fans at that speed. When it ramps up to full speed it sounds like twin jet turbines, so if noise bothers you, well... Did I mention this thing is HUGE? I wear a headset so the noise does not bother me at all.

can this fit on a sabertooth fx rev2 with a fx8350 ? and a gtx770 cm stryker full tower

There are two universal mounts in it, one for amd and one for Intel. It should mount no problem. The cooler itself is approximately 6.5 inches cubed with the fans on it. And it suits about three inches off the motherboard. You will ABSOLUTELY need low profile memory

Will this fit a LGA 1150 socket.?

The cooler mounts are the same for both sockets. The problem here is size. This cooler is very tall and will not fit a standard mid-tower or full tower case due to how tall it sits on the MB. Also, if your ram is close to the socket you will not be able to use any memory that has cooling fins on top. I just took the cooling fins off of my corsair memory and ran it without the fins. I kind of think the fins are just for show anyway since they are mounted to the memory with double-sided sticky tape that acts as an insulator between the fins and the memory. I am also using a Blackhawk ultra case.

is the airflow 106 cfm per fan or for the cooler as a whole?

I believe that is total unit. I don't use the fan anymore because it is huge. I do recommend Thermal Take in general.

How much space is between the 2 sets of fins?

Between the tower fins, I would say spacing would be about 25mm, or close to 1 inch, or slightly more since the fins are a little flexible. The fan dimensions that comes with this are 140mm x 140mm x 25mm.

will this fit an asus z97m plus 1150 motherboard?

Larry, I have a z79 deluxe and this heatsink fit, although it covered almost all of the ram slots.

Installation

Intel Motherboard Installation

Step 1

Insert the four long screws through the back-plate into the four holes on the motherboard and secure them with the four plastic spacers evenly.

Step 2

Put the two Intel mounting bars along with the four long screws and secure them with the four nuts.

Step 3

For LGA2011: Screwing the LGA 2011 screw onto motherboard tightly and put the two Intel mounting bars on the LGA 2011 screws. Fasten the four nuts onto the mounting bars tightly.

Step 4

Install the fan clips onto the heat-sink separately.

Step 5

Applying a thin layer of thermal grease onto the CPU.

Step 6

Screw the heat-sink onto the motherboard with the mounting plate tightly.

Step 7

Fix the two fans onto the heat-sink with fan clips separately.

Step 8

Connect two fan cords to the controller close to the VR Knob. Link the power cord to the CPU FAN slot and the right slot of the controller.

Step 9

Connect the 4-pin wire of controller to the motherboard's CPU fan connector. Installation is done.

AMD Motherboard Installation

Step 1
