    THE GAME

    Fade to Silence is a Survival-RPG set in the cold and deadly world of a post-apocalyptic winter.

    You take the role of Ash, a natural but tormented leader, exploring a post-apocalyptic frozen wasteland, gathering the resources necessary to establish a refuge for survival. With dwindling supplies, simple tasks like upgrading equipment and collecting materials require an immediate expedition to scavenge the necessary items. In the search for survival materials, players must navigate a vast territory, in which they will encounter Eldritch monsters and an even greater foe; the unrelenting winter.

    While freezing temperatures constantly take their toll on Ash, the deadliest event is a constant threat—a blizzard. If caught by surprise, it takes every ounce of skill, determination and luck to survive.

    Ash has an inherent talent for leadership, possessing the ability to unite a diverse group of people. He sets out to find as many survivors as he can, determined to build up a sustainable camp.     Jin is a spiritual person, whose meditative spirit is focused on the dark side of life. Enigmatic and taciturn, Jin’s actions speak louder than his words.     Always armed and ready to hunt, Issa enjoys the thrill of the chase. She doesn’t give up until she gets what she wants. Issa only makes an enemy if she knows it will gain her a valuable friend…or lover. Issa laughs easily, but her smile rarely reaches her eyes.

    The first to rush into battle, Tua takes the worst of it on himself. He would rather die fighting than live in the shadows. Tua has a strong sense of right and wrong, and he doesn’t back down quickly from a fight.

    Alice is Ash’s daughter. Being only 12 years old, she is doing her best to not be a burden to her father, which can be quite difficult when she is cold and hungry. In an effort to help out, she observes the other survivors in the camp and reports what she heard when he comes back from an expedition.

    MONSTERS
    RIPPER
    RIPPER

    Being equipped with giant claws, Rippers rush straight into melee combat when they attack their opponents. While their slow, clumsy attacks make them easy to dodge or block, they are powerful enough that a few hits with their claws will kill you.

    SPITTER
    SPITTER

    Spitters prefer to attack unsuspecting survivors by spewing explosive corruption bulbs at them. They are easy to defeat in close combat, as long as they are alone. However, a herd of Spitters have proven to be a deadly foe.

    HELLVINE
    HELLVINE

    Hellvines live in corrupted grounds. As a physical manifestation of corruption, they attack whoever enters their domain.

    STALKER
    STALKER

    Stalkers are patient predators. They follow until they are ready to strike with a lightning-fast charge, seriously injuring their victims. The only hope is to be able to evade this beast long enough to get into close combat.

    CRUSHER
    CRUSHER

    Crushers are towering, living boulders that crush their victims with hammer-like extremities. Attacking this creature without wearing top tier protection and weapons amounts to suicide.

    INNER VOICE
    INNER VOICE

    The Inner Voice is an unpleasant master. It excels at quietly discouraging and distracting Ash. At least at first, it’s relatively convincing. It encourages conflict, and is, at times, too eager to destroy. It loves nothing more than taking over living beings with corruption, and it can reveal too much of its plans when over-excited by this prospect.

    FEEDERR
    FEEDER

    This very dangerous enemy is slow, resilient and powerful. It walks using his two “arms” made of stone and dragging some kind of monstrosity as a lower body.

    This bag can extend its tongue to a great distance to snag its prey, dragging them right in front of the mouth where the victim is in a perfect position for a devastating attack.

    NEST
    NEST

    Nests are not attacking by themselves and need to be cleansed, a process that roots Ash in place and puts his life at risk.

    Nests are intermediary objects. Cleansing them removes corrupted grounds, opens potential paths, and is part of the process for cleansing an outpost.
