How do these panels work or what do the panels show? Do you program a LCD target screen or map your enemies whereabouts? It just looks like a frame with buttons around the edges. Do they mount on the monitor or sit one on each side? Has anyone done anything outside the use of flight sims or programmed them to do other things?

These are just the frames with functioning buttons along the sides. They plug in via USB. You can mount them to an extra monitor or buy smaller usb monitors that these will sit on top of. These resemble the actual MFD that are in a F-16 jet. Check them out on YouTube, search Thrustmaster MFD's and F-16 flight sim cockpits. Hope that helps. They work great!
