Does this work with Verizon?

I bought this for my at&t account and it would not work on the LTE network and was having trouble attaching to the 3G towers. Truly it moved down to the E network!  I am not sure if this bad connection to 3G is due to at&t or if it is because the phone is from the UK and is locked down as a world phone. Your Verizon service may be different, I would ask your local Verizon store. This was very disappointing.

will this phone work on the straight talk (walmart) service plan?  even though this phone is marked as unlocked I have noticed that some of the unlocked phones will still only work with certain carriers and as the walmart plan is a newer one it is not mentioned in the write ups I have viewed.

Yes it will work with straight talk. some time if it does not work, all you have to do is go setting to set it up for straight talk.

The phone seemed to be unlocked but I did not try anything like other countries! The real problem is the phone can not be updated to use LTE and 3G access was spotty. The N7100 is not a good phone for the US AT&T. Stick with the SGH-1317, you will be happier!
