Does this microphone support both XLR and USB output modes?
Yes, it supports both XLR and USB modes. It comes with two cables, one for USB, which allows for plug-and-play connection directly to a computer, and another for XLR, which requires connection to a sound card.
What's the size of the boom arm? My desk is 5 cm thick. Will the boom arm be able to install?
The size of the boom arm is 13.78" + 13.78" (35cm+35cm). And yes, the clamp is compatible with desks up to 6cm thick.
Does it support volume adjustment and mute function?
Yes, it does. Under USB mode, pressing the mute button to mute. And, the +/- buttons can adjust the mic's volume. By long-pressing the mute button, it switched to the headphone volume adjustment.
