Circa 2023 Build

Built this PC in September of 2023. My previous Alienware Pre-Built (R8, i5-9600k, 2080super) was hit by lightning and quit working. Insurance cut me a check, so off to the races I went.

The goal was to build a PC that would outperform higher end builds for at least 5 years, if not 7. I'm going on 3 years now and call this a success. I've had my system overclocked for quite some time and it runs in the top 2% globally on Time Spy, and other benchmarks.

Back when I built this, the RAM was only like $120. The GPU was on sale for $900, the CPU was like $280.

All my SSD's I got on deals for very cheap, like sub $100.

All told, I built this PC for under $2400.
