I've been building PC's for roughly 22 years, the first complete build I did was back in 2000 at the age of 16. It was an Athlon 1100. A few years later when upgrading it to an Athlon 1700, I put the HSF on backwards and crushed the die into silicon powder. The shop I had bought it from at the time exchanged it for a new one, in exchange for me agreeing to them being able to laugh at my expense every time I saw them. But at that point I was hooked, so they received many a opportunity to laugh at me.
My Previous build to this build was an AMD FX 8350 build with a 1070 GTX in it that was starting to show it's age. So I decided to build a new one. It was a completely RGB free build in an older Antec Case with a Orange Cougar Fans. I have a ten year old son, so I thought I'd do something a little more attention grabbing to wow him.
My sister had passed away a few months prior to the build. I wanted to do a Pokemon themed build. But decided on the V1 Water Block cover being Squirtle as that was her favorite Pokemon.
The PC actually has three total 2TB MX500 SSDs in it. But for some reason Newegg would only allow me to put in 2. So the system has a total of 18TB of storage. As of right now, I use a solid 11tb of 18.
