265K + 5070 Ti - Coming from a 10700K & 3070 - WOW
Upgraded from my ~5 year old PC - a 10700K, 3070, and 48GB of RAM to a Core Ultra 265K, 5070 Ti, and 64 GB of RAM. Comparing benchmarks from 3DMark, the new system is over 2x the performance. Not bad, not bad at all! New system score: 7910 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 265K Old system score: 3345 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and Intel Core i7-10700K Processor My 15 year old helped me build it today - and other than some minor mishaps like not knowing how to best run cables, a bent header pin for the 5G USB, etc - all went well. System runs quiet, and beautiful.

Robert's Home Sleeper
Asus CSM Model for Reliability Ryzen 7 in an unusual space in price vs performance but seemed the right fit for me personally (Light local LLM, audio production, some VMs) G.Skill EXPO Memory Profile I cheaped out on the case : / No GPU PSU specced w/o GPU Dual Drive but I believe this board supports RAID, need to double check. Requires some BIOS fan profile tweaking to get it to not sound like a server I ended up adding a second Phanteks fan

2025 Dad build
I am building this new PC for myself so that I can hand down my current build to my 12-year-old son who I am proud to say who also likes to game. I have not yet built it yet as I need to order everything still, but my son is excited to help me and learn how to build a PC from the ground up. As far as the parts I have chosen, I wouldn't mind any feedback. Some things I would like to go higher end with, 5070 to 5070ti, but current budget is being pushed to the limit as is says the wife, lol. First time posting about a build that I am doing, so be gentle, but definitely up for honest critique, can't say it will change my mind, budget and all, but who knows.

Betty and Veronica
I called her Betty and Veronica because she's mostly black but with a lot of white fans for a kind of yin and yang/feng shui thing going on. It's my do everything and anything machine with a ton of storage and fairly high-end components. I do a lot of AI/Computational stuff as well as 3D stuff so I need the RAM, though system would probably be a tad faster running half as much at higher speeds. Sort of regret going with AMD vs. Intel for this build, RAM tweaking was a bit of a nightmare here but eventually got it stable at over 5000Mhz with latest bios update for the board. Both the mobo and GPU are freakin sweet performance wise....I had purchased an MSI 4090 Suprim initially...and as great as that would have been it didn't justify the extra 1500-2000$ that would have run me...already finding I'll need a second GPU to meet my needs, so maybe that will be ab addition eventually. Probably a cheaper secondary GPU though...also running an ASUS m2 expansion card (four extra m2 slots) which I need to meet my longterm server/storage needs.

First Build
I went decently all out with my first build, figured (hopefully) that it wont needed to be upgraded for awhile. I was trying to source a sapphire nitro+ 7900xtx but I built this system when Nvidia's 50 series and AMD's 90 series dropped and was unable to get the gpu I wanted as they were out of stock. Crushes any game i throw at it.

Moxxi - 2015 Haswell gaming rig
My former gaming rig built in 2015, this ol Haswell CPU still has quite some life left. This CPU handled playing Cyberpunk 2077 ON LAUNCH DAY in 1080p 60-ishfps like a champ. I've now made a AM4 based gaming rig as my primary rig, so this cool cat got moved to being the more performance - oriented node of my home's Proxmox based server setup. I didn't add all the storage drives or server-specific addin cards to the list here. I couldn't get the site to load all the ram colors, i had actually went with White as it contrasted the board's camo look really well. And the brown noctua fans fit really well with the camo as well, one of the few times I've had building computers that the standard brown noctua fans fit the build aesthetic much better than standard black. The sata power pins have been quite weird to get working, a couple years ago I ended up making a cablemod order to get the lead lengths in the right spot for the case's bottom HDDs, and get a shorter VGA cable. Temporarily I had a 3060ti in the rig to play cyberpunk on ultrawide monitor, as the 1070ti drops to 20fps on 4K-ish resolutions. It's now back to the 1070ti as it was a bit easier setup for VM usage on pascal cards. And for the life of me i cant find any pictures that isn't showing building in the case... lol And this board chews through CR2032 batteries in a couple years, I'm on the 3rd battery already.

Upgrade Build
I originally ordered a prebuilt. I've been slowly upgrading my PC since 2022. Looking for deals. I certainly didn't pay almost $3K for my 4080 Super. I actually bought it at MSRP for about $1000 and some change. Anyway, this is what I came up with...

Hal 9000
It's not an option on Newegg, but I also have a set of reverse blade 120 Lian Li's on the inside of the side radiator (visible). The side radiator is the Lian Li G2 and the top is the GPU AIO from Alphacool. Next year I intend to make it all one big custom loop with 2 360's and maybe a 140 on the back (not 100% on that part yet). Thinking about painting the inside of the acrylic for the GPU distro either silver or flat black. Anyone have thoughts? Also, ignore the shelf it is on and plastic walls behind, we are mid remodel of our 100+ year old house.

Ecuadorian Gaming Beast
Hey there guys, I'm Julio, I'd like to introduce you to my gaming / study rig, at first I got the rig from a friend of mine that moved to the United States, at the time it was nowhere close to how it is today, having then an i5-9400F, GTX 1650, H-310M motherboard, and a 240GB Kingston SSD. However, with the passing of the years I've been saving money to upgrade said computer (mainly because the GTX 1650 stopped giving me consistent framerate in Doom Eternal at high settings) with new parts, which are the ones you can see here. The parts you see in the list are the closest things in price (and maybe performance) to my actual hardware, I'll detail the correct hardware here: - i5-10400 (no integrated graphics) - ASUS Prime H410M-E - Corsair Vengeance RGB RS 32GB 3600Mhz - Colorful iGame RTX 3060 Ultra W OC L - Manmu 360mm RGB AIO Cooler - CPU Sag Support Bracket (Bought in Temu) - Antec C8 Case - EVGA 600W PSU - Dextor RGB Fan 6x Kit - Kingston NV2 500GB M.2 SSD - WD Blue 1TB HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD - ADATA Su630 1TB SSD - Seagate 500GB HDD (Salvaged from a Dell Vostro 3300) - Acer KG241Q 144Hz 23.6" Monitor - Logitech G502 Hero Mouse - Logitech G733 Headset - Corsair K70 Mk.II Keyboard - Redragon RGB Headset Holder
