Pros: This laptop runs very fast compared to my previous dual-core with a dedicated 512meg video chip. I have been able to play Aion much more smoothly than on my desktop and most of the settings are on high. I like the keys... they feel solid.... however they are in a different position to the trackpad than I am used to, so that's taking a bit to get used to. The install of Windows 7 appears to be very clean without any desktop clutter. There are some programs installed I'll probably get rid of, but they aren't 'in your face' like I'm used to. There were a few Windows updates to make, but overall getting the laptop ready for use was simple. The display is great. This is my first laptop with a larger screen and I'm loving it.

Cons: Definitely a fingerprint magnet like most "piano black gloss" products these days. Pretty heavy, but that is to be expected of a "gaming" laptop.

Overall Review: I have yet to try to watch a blu-ray movie.. we'll see how that goes. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and will try to update this review after I've had more time with the laptop.

Pros: I looked for a new laptop for the past 4 months before choosing this one.It is one of the best buys for the money. The speakers are phenomanal. The default setting makes it seem like there isnt alot of power but once you dive in and customize it, it ends up being louder than my external speakers on my desktop with great quality. The Intel i7 is great for gaming. Research this since it is great for gaming and can take more advantage! Expandable to 8 GIGS of ram.

Cons: Unable to turn off the sound from the left panel buttons (that I have found).

Overall Review: Great buy again for the money. If you are looking for an upgrade from a dual core and you game a lot this is a great option versus Alienware.

Pros: This is amazing machine for the price. After months of shopping online for a laptop, I found this to be the best deal for the price. The new Intel i7 processor is a brilliant piece of work. If you haven't read any literature on it, do yourself a favor and do it. The speakers have an amazing sound quality that I haven't seen rivaled by any other laptop. The screen size is an obvious advantage over other laptops so long as you understand that its designed as a desktop replacement. I've only gotten a little over 2 hours of battery life, but that was just watching videos, no gaming or wireless web browsing. An excellent buy if you're looking for a beast of a machine in regards to size and specs.

Cons: Only a few cons, but nothing that's a deal breaker. The glossy finish naturally is a fingerprint magnet, but that can be handled with an occasional wipe. The keyboard back light is on a roughly 20 second timer and I haven't found a way to extend that yet. But I also haven't looked at the BIOS yet. The worst thing I've found about the Qosmio is the fact that it only has one HDD. There is space on the bottom for an addition 2.5" drive, but there is no controller for it. As soon as I can find a way around that I will have no problems with this machine.

Overall Review: I ordered this laptop on 29 October and got it 4 November. Normally this wouldn't be too difficult to imagine as far as shipping time goes. But I had this shipped to an APO address that routes it to South Korea. So kudos to Newegg for the incredibly fast shipping.

Pros: -Fast -Best speakers I've seen on a laptop - seriously loud and very decent bass -18" screen is great for gaming and media applications -Full backlit keyboard is a definite must have - Also very easy to type on compared to a smaller laptop -Webcam and mic perform better than I suspected -NVidia 250M performs better than expected and I was getting extremely high FPS on somewhat demanding games (Age of Conan, Crysis, Cities XL) -Intel i7 is great for multitasking applications with games -Upgradeable to 8GB ram is nice On a side note, Newegg does amazing with shipping speeds - not that this has anything to do with the laptop itself... just an added bonus

Cons: -Too fast for me - I'm used to having to wait for a webpage to load or a game to load - now I don't have time to get a snack in between. Way too fast. -Blue-ray player -Keeps me addicted to movie watching more than I already am. This is no good. -Red - I would have preferred a pink or white. On a more serious note: -High gloss (as stated before - attracts fingerprints) which could be fixed with a matte keyboard but this is a very minor flaw -Somewhat heavy (10lbs to be expected with something this size and quality) -Big! (Also to be expected... not necessarily a con unless you're looking for something you can just drag around with you every day)

Overall Review: Overall it is probably the best bang for your buck in the $1300 range and if you do any gaming but don't have $2000+ to drop on a new system, this is a great way to go. The price to performance/quality ratio is very good.

Cons: don't know where to get a big laptop cooler for it. lol. Seriously i haven't found anything bad on it. the beep sound for the volume control would annoy you sometimes. But it can be disabled in bios.

Overall Review: would recommend everyone who are looking for multitasking and gaming. one of the best i720 laptops on market. Second to alienware m15x (gpu260gtx) i guess. but 250gts and 260 gtx doesn't make too much diff. so if you looking for bigger screen this is it.

Pros: Great laptop. There are lots of nice extras with this thing including the lighted keyboard. My favorite is the touchpad enable/disable button. It's fast for gaming and pretty much everything else.

Cons: Lots of bloatware, but I uninstalled it all without much trouble. It's a fingerprint magnet. The left side media buttons beep incredibly loud, but you can disabled it in the bios (press F2 or F1 at startup I think). Also, the media buttons are poorly placed. You will hit them when you don't mean to.

Overall Review: This thing is HUGE. It's bigger than you think. The speakers are great for a laptop. However for an audiophile, it sounds like Toshiba applies a lot of compression to the sound, therefore you get sort of a volume pumping effect. I can live with it though. I got rid of my external speakers to free up some room on my desk.

Pros: So far this computer has been amazing. The speed is phenomenal, the graphics power is great, and the blu-ray quality is unmatched.

Cons: The WEIGHT! Be warned, this is a very hefty computer...but it makes it feel less breakable.

Overall Review: I can't help but recommend this computer to nearly everyone I know.

Pros: Blu ray, gaming, music, and all the power you can ask. fairly quiet compared to my old alienware Doest run to hot and plays all games flawlessly including dragon age, aion, and wow. Great buy for the money.

Cons: none so far.
