Toshiba's Satellite notebook computers have long been a favorite of the business community and the A205 is no exception. Powered by a Pentium Dual-core Processor running at 1.86GHz it has plenty of power to handle everything you ask of it without sucking your battery dry. It comes with 2GB of DDR2 memory so you can have multiple windows open without slowing the system down.
The 15.4" screen is powered by a mobile Intel GMA X3100GPU and has a 1280x800 resolution. This lets it natively support 720p HD resolution. You can hook the notebook to an external display source with either a D-Sub or an S-Video connection.
Connectivity in the business world is important. That's why Toshiba equipped the A205 with a generous selection of options including 4xUSB2.0, 1xFireWire and an ExpressCard slot. There is also an Atheros 802.11b/g wireless LAN connection, a modem and a fast Ethernet port. A built in webcam and microphone let you take advantage of the connections to hold or attend video conferences.
