Can this one supports Windows 10 and ZI70 motherboards? Mine is Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

Mine is working great in Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. However, I am using an older motherboard , Asus P8P67 deluxe. I see no reason why it shouldn't work. It works in the pcie slot. The motherboard chipset should have no effect as long as it is at least as modern as mine- yours is much newer.

I am not sure honestly.  I didn't receive an update for the driver after Windows 10 was installed on my PC - unless they snnuck it in under the radar on me.  It is working seamlessly with 10.

Will i e able to use this card with older wireless routers?

I believe so.  The adapter supports the older protocols (a, b, g and n) as well as the newest one (ac).  If you want to know more about the protocols look-up IEEE 802.11 on wikipedia and then check what you router supports.  If it is older I expect it would be a, b and g (which is fine).  All this will limit is the amount of data can be exchanged.  If you are planning to do gaming etc. then you may need to consider upgrading you router otherwise you should be fine.  As for this adapter I could not be happier.  It was easy to install and the data transfers rates have been impressive (compared to my Lenovo x200s laptop).  I hope this helps.

Does this produce its own internet connection without a cable company?

To answer your question as written, the answer is no.  In order to access the world wide web (internet) you need an ISP (internet Service Provider) connection whether it be on coaxial cable, standard telephone line, DSL line or Fiber optic service.

They provide an IP (Internet Protocol) address that identifies your location and allows your computer to connect with the internet.  Like your mailing address but a bit different....

Now, if you are asking if you put this in your computer and connect to the internet by connecting with your neighbors router who has internet service, then yes if you're within a reasonable distance and they allow you to share their service. Requires setup and you have to make sure the equipment they have is also wireless capable and compatible with this card.

If you happen to live within distance of a free WiFi internet connection, then yes - you could connect to the internet. There are towns/city's that provide free WiFi service but I have no idea of where you are from or what is available to you.

But while you said internet, I would ask if you meant intranet?  That would be the ability to connect to other computers within a local area network - such as your home or apartment building. That would require additional hardware but yes, you could use it to connect to a local network you set up.

If you do get an internet provider, they typically supply the router equipment which may have wireless capability as well as wired connections you can use to connect to the internet.

My reply is a simplified response to your question and is not all the information you may need to connect to the internet.  Usually the internet providers will provide assistance to their customers so they can connect to the internet without needing to know all the technical details.

I am aware that this is a very old question, but this DOES include a low profile bracket. I was surprised to find this out myself but in the top right corner of my box it even says "low profile bracket included." Maybe there is a certain revision of this I got lucky with or the Newegg page wasn't updated, but my unit DOES HAVE a low profile bracket. While it may not be helpful to you because of how old the question is, hopefully this helps out others.

When I got mine it sure did. Yes; it includes a physical CD... not so sure if it was a DVD or a CD. I would check for you, but I'm traveling abroad at the moment.

If you have a newer computer/laptop the newer "AC" band is faster BUT with an older model computer you most likely won't pick up the "AC" band.
