Manufacturer Response:
Hello,
We appreciate your feedback and review of our RE305.
Please allow us to assist you with your concerns and help improve your wireless experience. When using a router with a wireless extender you may come across times where your device will stick to a band instead of switching automatically, commonly called wireless roaming. Please take a moment to look over our below FAQ to ensure that your mobile device is properly set to ensure optimal wireless connection:

Pros: -does what it supposed to, plus a little bit extra
-features of a low end router interface; access controls, ip address controls, create or duplicate networks
-timers for network access, led, power, etc
Cons: -more of a small design flaw with all wall socket extenders. Wall sockets are usually a foot of the ground, not the best place to pickup your wireless signal. And customers don't consider or don't think an extension cable works with them. A power cable and a really cheap mount would improve these for a lot of average customers.
Overall Review: Was able to take a low power 2.4 ghz N based network through several walls, and boost it to 5 ghz AC. Because of the interface, it was very easy to setup and customize. Much more stable with this extender.
Pros: Good idea if it worked.
Cons: Router upstairs, extender down. Tried different locations. All get 4 blue lights but everywhere I place it, still drops the signal. Wife getting mad. not at extender but at me. Have Spectrum internet with their router.
Overall Review: Does not work at my house.
