Is this compatible with Time Warner Cable high speed Internet? 30mbps

It would support the speed if it were a "Cable" modem(Coaxial), but this is a "DSL" modem (phone line). Sorry.

Also, a note on wireless range. The wireless range is more comparable to a 802.11(g) rather than a 802.11(n) router as it is listed to be. I have two 802.11(n) routers that far surpass the range of this one. Not sure if that is consistent across this brands "cable" modem or not.

this is a DSL modem & router combo, not a cable modem&router combo, no it will not. two completely different lines and connectors. DSL is phone jack connection, CABLE is coax TV cable connection.

How many phone connections does it have can I hook a phone and printer to it?

This router has one phone jack input from the phone line but it does not have any phone jack outputs. However, it does have four R-45 output jacks or whats called LAN outputs. You can hook up to 4 computers to it or four possible other compatible electronic device. For example a PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3. It also has a wireless possibility of up to 5 computers or electronic device which is a normal standard for a wireless output.
