Works like a charm! 8/31/2020 7:44:40 AM

Pros: - As fast as plugging into my wired router
- Incredibly easy to expand the system
- Pass through plug means the outlet isn't lost

Cons: - It's fairly large and may block the other receptacle in an outlet

Overall Review: When it works Powerline is amazing, when it doesn't it's frustrating. However, in my house the fifty year old wiring works incredibly well. To the point where I match the speed of plugging directly into the router itself.

If you're having wifi issues then I think Powerline is the next step in fixing the process, as these things run about eighty bucks and and mean you don't have to run any CAT cable. If Powerline doesn't work then you should think about running that wire, but give these a try first. I had used Powerline in the past, about ten years ago, and these are an amazing difference, as they simply just work. So much so that I rolled Powerline out through the rest of the house and saved myself so much frustration about Ethernet speeds when everyone is streaming and conference calling right now.

Huge fan, I think these are great.

Introduces tones of noise 7/21/2020 2:01:53 PM

Overall Review: My mic (blue yeti) picks up the electrical noise introduced by the power line adapter, cannot even be in a discord call without hearing the static blasting in the other persons ear. Tried on multiple plugs and all have the same issue. Other then that the speeds are roughly 130 up and down on a 150 connection in a roughly 27 year old house with original wiring. Would not recommend if you use a blue yeti or similar mics.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for your review. The symptoms you are experiencing with your mic are unusual, and we recommend ensuring both Powerline adapters are plugged directly into wall outlets - no surge protectors or power strips as these will directly interfere with the connection. We recommend following the suggestions outlined in our FAQ here to help optimize the performance of your Powerline connection:

We'd love to follow up with you and answer any questions you might have. Please send an e-mail with your contact information and a link to this review to and we'll gladly have a Support Agent follow up with you directly.

It works. 7/3/2020 3:39:02 PM

Pros: Fully 80% of the speed at the router over a power line connection. Not bad!

Cons: It's still not 100%.

Overall Review: It works.

Easy to use, functions as advertised 3/19/2020 8:34:41 PM

Pros: Plug and play
Option to set password

Cons: A tad pricey but I suppose it's a convenience tax

Overall Review: Works great! I unfortunately don't have the internet speeds to test if it can actually support Gigabit internet but my speed with this is the same as if I ran a cable all the way from my router. If you want a good solution to getting ethernet speeds without messing around in your walls or having long ugly over the ground cable runs this is your solution.

Great way to get connectivity across WiFi barriers 12/11/2019 9:48:57 AM

Pros: It works, this is an awesome technology. This helps tunnel through concrete walls etc. where WiFi doesn't transit well.

Cons: Does not seem to have good flow control. i.e. If I push traffic as fast as I can (flood ping), with WiFi I may get lower throughput, but packet loss is much lower (about 1%). With these when I run a flood ping I see about 20% packet loss.

Overall Review: I've plugged into 2 outlets on different circuits (and that's what we want to do in most cases to extend a network) and I'm getting about 200Mbps which low compared to the theoretical throughput, but pretty good.

Strong system, have had one fail. 9/25/2019 1:30:32 AM

Pros: -Works across different breakers in my use case
-Easy to use, like having an Ethernet cable across my house
-Did I mention it was easy?

Cons: -Did have one fail. I have purchased 3 pairs, and of the 6 units one has failed, power supply I think, no more lights on it. It ran for more than a year so, whatever.

Overall Review: -Would purchase again, very handy, makes life easy.

Better then i expected by far. 12/26/2018 1:31:11 PM

Pros: Running to a different room to my son's xbox. His pings were in the 100's pretty much all of the time and now they are locked at about 30, close to what mine is off of the router. Not on the same circuit either, in a house built in 1960, i'm pretty blown away to be honest.

I set out to just improve his gaming not make it perfect, so i was pleasantly surprised.

Cons: Pretty bulky, but for the internet performance it's an easy trade off and it has a pass through .

Did not fit my needs, Un reliable in my home Mid 2000's electrical, Not compatible. Weird. 12/20/2018 6:24:21 PM

Pros: A friend was able to use it.
Still working to this day for Him.

Cons: When I Purchased, No disclosure about software updates. Worked around it in the same Large room on same circuit with both Powerlines plugged in.

Overall Review: Cannot advise yes or no. I was unable to make it work for me.

Recommend a software / Firmware update right out of the box. That could of saved me some time. & Hassle

Had an electrician come out, and was told not my wiring issue at my home. JUst operated on a different circuit. Oh Well.
