is this switch is gigabit switch?

The switch is a gigabit switch.  The lights on each port indicate whether the device you are connected to is 10 100 or 1000.  I haven't had any issues with it.  Just plug and go.

Question 2

Can this be mounted to a vertical wall? (hook the bottom of the switch to the wall with some screws).

I Don't have room for a rack right now since most are about 12" deep.

The unit itself doesn't have holes for screws but the rack mount brackets can be rotated 90 degrees and mounted to a wall that way.

Question 3

Did this switch include "fire wall"??

I don't think it does. If it does, I wasn't aware of it. 
It seems to be performing as expected. Its been power cycled, accidentally, 3 times since put into service and works as expected.

Can two of these switches be stacked together?

No, not the way you are probably thinking.  If you do it you will have a bottleneck on which ever port you connect to another switch.  That said; if you are on a budget and do not have tons of data going across your network you "could" do it.  Worst possible case you could end up with approx. 50mbps.  If you can live with that then do it; otherwise maybe look at some "Stackable" switches.

What version model is currently being shipped  V2 or V3?

Sorry it doesn't say on the unit and we tossed the box, but it works great on our server.

Question 6

Can I place this in my underground (but not climate controlled) garage (it's part of my walkout basement) ?

From the manufacturers website.  Non-condensing means no liquid water, as opposed to water vapor.  No temp below freezing.  If you meet these conditions you should be ok.

Operating Humidity: 10%~90% non-condensing;
Storage Humidity: 5%~90% non-condensing

Question 7

This is a fanless design according to the Newegg overview, but some people say they could hear fan noise.  So, does it have a fan? Does anyone know what's the decibel level one foot away?

I'm not tearing it off the wall to check but I don't remember a fan and I certainly can't hear anything.  That said, manufacturers will sometimes change a model and not say anything.

Says "power saving" ... what is the amperage or wattage on the label or measured?

I don't have a way to measure power usage.

The product overview states "The switch automatically powers down the ports that are idle and budgets power output for different Ethernet cable lengths".  This would result in varying power usage statistics for each network configuration.
