Hello, if this is the one that was suggested using online tools then you should be ok I have used ssd,s in the past to replace a disk type to a ssd I found the hardest thing is copying your existing drive to the new drive that should be the same size or larger. I have used acronis by western digital with good results. This drive I purchased for use in my desktop.

Newegg, Do you sell power and data cables for this ssd?

Your motherboard should come with data cables. If not, just search for a SATA data cable. They're very cheap.

As for power cables, there should be some on your power supply. Just look for the # of SATA power if you aren't sure. If you don't have any, you can buy a molex to SATA adapter here on Newegg.

Question 3

I just bought this drive, and am now using a 1 terabyte drive partitioned into (C:) 100gb local disk, and (E:) Secondary Volume.
I am pretty happy with how fast my operating system is and was wondering which would be most beneficial:
A- install the SSD as main local C: and move OS over to it?
B- just install the SSD as another drive and run all of my games from it?
I run/store all of my games from the partitioned drive E Secondary Volume right now.

I would copy duplicate the boot partition to the SSD drive, and enlarge it to 237GB, and use the other drive as 1TB for all the rest.
Programs that do need a faster response install on the SSD drive, all others on the 1TB drive.

im kind of a novice... will this fit in my lenovo thinkpad T60 as a direct replacement for my original hard drive?   currently running Vista 32 bit
