I'm not sure what you mean by "USB Devices:. ANY MicroSD or regular SD card will work in this adapter. This device is backwards compatible with a USB 3.0, 2.0, even 1.0 ports. The use of class 10 cards yields the fastest transfers.

Is this what I need to  view the pictures from the memory stick from my camera?

Perhaps? Are you calling it memory stick colloquially?

This reads SD and Micro SD. Just ensure that's what your camera is using.

If you're using Sony's Memory stick - then that's a different format, and needs a different reader.

Do a search in the newegg search bar for N82E16820283016 - That handles sony memory stick as well as SD/uSD.

Does this reader let you use both slots at the same time?
ie: copy from one card to the other.

The packaging states that simultaneous insertion of two cards is not supported. However, I decided to conduct my own experiment to verify this. I was unable to read off either card when both were inserted at the same time. I tried it with a laptop running Windows 7, a desktop running Windows 7, and another desktop running Debian Linux. I got the farthest with Linux. The Transcend device showed up in the Nautilus file manager but I couldn't read off either card. I was using a 16gb card in a adapter and a 4gb card in the micro slot. I swapped the 16gb with a 2gb with no luck.
One card at a time was no problem.

I generally use the Transcend attached to a PogoPlug with the 16gb in an adapter in the SD slot and it works fine.

Yes. This is a USB 3.0 device that is backwards-compatible with the USB 2.0 specification. Any computer with a USB port can use this device.

My card reader is not working in my Windows Surface I thought it would be compatible, any suggestions?

Make sure you have run Windows Update over and over until it can not find any new updates to install. Just running it once can result in not getting the latest updates to the updates it just installed.

The description says there is a LED card insertion and data transfer activity indicator, but I don't see an LED in the photos. Where is the LED located?

The blue LED is only visible when it is lit. It is internal and glows through the case just at the end of the brand name "Transcend".

The Compatible Memory Cards are SDHC, SDXC, microSDHC, microSDXC, including UHS-I versions. So, it should work with that card (I have not tried it myself though, as I'm only using 32GB cards).
