TRENDnet's N900 Dual Band Wireless Router, model TEW-692GR, is the first router to support 450Mbps speeds on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands at the same time. This router's raw horsepower redefines wireless networking as we know it, to easily stream HD video through the home.
Gigabit Wide Area Network and Local Area Network ports transfer wired data fast. Embedded GREENnet technology reduces port-based power consumption by up to 70%.
Advanced Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna technology reduces wireless dead spots. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) connects other WPS supported wireless adapters at the touch of a button. WMM® Quality of Service (QoS) technology prioritizes gaming, Internet calls, and video streams. Assign up to four virtual networks on each wireless band and manage access control for IP addresses, website URLs, and data protocols.

Pros: Small foot print, Blazing fast when is setup in Line of Sight (LOS) . Extremely easy to setup. Fast shipping as usual. The setup was a piece of cake.
Cons: Where do I begin? Upon receiving it, I noticed that compare to the Asus RT-N16 this thing is tiny. There is nothing wrong with my old router, but I like to keep up with technology as much as possible. After installing most of my computers and devices to the network I was impressed with the speed but noticed that on my laptop I had four out of five bars and my laptop was only 15 feet from device with LOS). I then moved to my kids computer. One had 3 out of 5 bars and the other 2 out of 5. My bedroom is the furthest one with several walls in between so I knew I was in trouble. I could barely get one bar on my laptop while in my bedroom and my house is not big by any definition. It was like watching the display on my first computer while downloading a simple photo using a 28k dial up connection. People my age would know what I mean.
Overall Review: After a firmware upgrade I am now getting two bars (Woo hoo!). I was going to return it but I figured that after shipping and the 10 or 15% restocking fee why bother. I also thought about buying the TrendNet TEW-684UB adapter, but I shouldn't have to buy adapters so this thing can to do what it should do right out of the box. Not to mention that I would have to buy 3 at $58 bucks each. Besides, carrying a usb adapter with the laptop to increase range defeats the purpose of buying a new router. My only solution was to order a long cable so I can move it to the middle of my house and hope that it will improve the range and speed. In the mean time I connected my Asus RT-N16 to one of the LAN ports on the TrendNet router to use as wireless N only. With the asus I am getting five (5) full bars and 144mbps. Below are my speed test for both routers from the same location Asus RT-N16 Download 11507Kbps Upload 4093 Kbps. /144mbps TrendNet TEW-692GR Download 4854 Kbps
