No, the cables were NOT included when I got this KVM. I absolutely love having this switch, it makes everything so much less cluttered. The only thing I would tell you to keep in mind is that you need to make sure you get the correct cables that are made for this KVM switch specifically! I didn't purchase cables with the KVM when I bought it because I had an old KVM and I planned to use those cables. I figured it wouldn't be an issue especially since my old 4 port KVM was also a TRENDnet. When I pulled it out of the box and hooked everything up, nothing worked. I couldn't understand why since the cables worked on the old one so I asked Customer Support from TRENDnet, and they informed me that I had to buy all new cables or it wouldn't work.

So short answer, you will need to buy cables. Just make sure that you get the correct cables for this KVM switch, and make sure they are the length that you need!

Did it include the cables for the computer connections?

You receive on only the cables to make the main connections to the keyboard, mouse, monitor. You will need to order the additional cables to connect to your other devises. You can identify which cables are appropriate by going to trendnet website and do a search on the unit you purchased.
The equipment I purchased works perfectly for my needs.

No, it doesn't. You have to purchase those separately so you can choose what lengths you want I suppose.
