Is the RBC51 compatible with Tripp Lite's Omni900LCD?

I used this battery in a Tripplite G1010 UBS which looks remarkably like the 900LCD. That doesn't mean they use the same battery but it is relatively easy to remove the battery from the unit to check. The TrippLite website lists the RBC51 as the correct replacement for the Omni900LCD but you should verify that for yourself before purchase.

What is the VA rating for this battery?

the battery is made by B.B. Battery and its model number is HR1234W.  The specs printed on the battery are "12V,34WPC/15min./1.30 VPC/25°C" -- I am, unfortunately, clueless about the meaning of "WPC"  ...   maybe, I suppose, the "W" means "watts," which (if correct) would sort of answer your question.
