TRIPP LITE Safe-IT Spherical Surge Protector 3-Outlets 4 USB Ports 6ft Cord

The TRIPP LITE Safe-IT TLP38UAM is a compact, 3-outlet surge protector with four shared 4.8A USB ports and 540-joule surge protection, suited to meeting rooms and conference tables that need to power or charge up to seven devices.

Recommended For

• Conference-room and shared-meeting users who want one compact tabletop unit for laptops or a projector plus phone and tablet charging; the three AC outlets are spaced for larger adapters, and the four USB-A ports share 4.8A.
• People who move between home, office, hotel, or conference-room workspaces and want a small surge protector with a built-in cord and USB-A charging, rather than carrying a separate USB charger.
• Desk or workstation users who need a few AC outlets alongside USB-A charging for phones and tablets, and prefer a rounded unit that can also be mounted on a flat surface.
• Users charging several phones or tablets at once who value having four USB-A ports in one place and do not require USB-C charging.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• During a small meeting, a presenter can plug a laptop and other equipment into the outlets while attendees charge phones or tablets from the USB ports, keeping charging connections gathered at the table.
• At a shared desk, someone can power a laptop and accessories while charging a phone or tablet; the spaced outlets can help when one device uses a bulky power adapter.
• For a temporary work setup or business trip, the compact ball-shaped unit can provide a few AC outlets and USB charging in one place, rather than spreading chargers across a desk or table.
• At a home office or study table, several small electronics can share one surge-protected power point, with phones and tablets charging directly from USB instead of occupying AC outlets with separate USB adapters.
• When several phones or tablets are plugged in at once, users can charge them through the USB ports, but charging power is shared across the ports, so the experience depends on how many devices are connected.
