What is the applicable gap range for this weather stripping? Can I use it for a 1/8 inch gap?
We recommend choosing weather stripping that matches your gap size for the best seal. If it's too large, it may deform or be hard to fit, and if it's too small, it won't seal properly.
Is the adhesive strong enough? I need it to stay in place for a long time
We use only premium adhesives on every weather stripping, which makes everything stick firmly. And the grid adhesive backing of this seal ensures stronger adhesion by evenly distributing the glue, reducing air bubbles and enhancing durability.
Will this seal leave any residue when removed?
In most cases, it won't leave glue residue. However, no adhesive product assures complete residue-free after use. High temperatures or humid environments may soften or expand glue, increasing residue likelihood.
How can I remove glue residue effectively?
If you encounter glue residue, use 75% medical alcohol from home. Spray on residue, wait 2-5 minutes, then wipe with a cotton swab or non-abrasive tool before alcohol dries. Apply slight pressure to remove residual glue
Can this seal be removed? I'm worried about the damage it will cause to the surface.
High-adhesion glue contradicts non-destructive removal. We recommend you peel sealing strip slowly to avoid damage. If difficult, use hair dryer's hot air to soften glue. This reduces surface damage risk during removal.
