Yes this came with everything needed to work with the xbox one. You should have a USB cable for the controller , you just hook up the controller to install new firmware and you are in business!

The xbox one audio adapter on the controller only delivers stereo, so if you use these headphones in that way, that's what you'll get. That being said, it is high quality stereo sound.

Does anyone know how to be able to listen to both a ipod/phone and have the game sound in the headphones at the same time?

I don't think this is possible because the headphones plug into the controller for sound for the game.   I believe it will only work on one thing at a time.

The biggest difference is XO Seven is more comfortable and adjustable with the memory foam around the ears. The XO Seven is also customizable with the ability to change the face plates.

Yes, if you can get a splitter to split the headphone and mic inputs for use with a PC. I have a splitter myself.
