Question 1

I am thinking of going with this headset as far as budget wise, but then again I see the Z60's and they seem to be a bit better. So I am confused whether to go with this pair or the Z60's. I am usually always listening to music and or gaming. Any opinions?

I would go with the Z60's.  I felt that these weren't worth the money, they seemed  like a low quality headset. I didn't even use it. I went back to my other headset.

Question 2

Will I need an additional adapter to use this headset with the Xbox One?

This would not be a good choice to use with an Xbox 360 or Xbox one, regardless of adapters. Your Xbox does not have the ability to download drivers and has no built in drivers of its own, and unlike smart devices they do not have a generic driver for all headsets.

It may work, but there would definitely be missing features. I would advise against it.
