what is the difference between the MC-CG917 and MC-CG937 canister vacuuns?

From what I can tell these are virtually the same units.  I do see that the CG 937 does not come with the pet turbine brush as the CG 917 does. but that is strange as the CG 937 is $50 more than the not CG 917. Go figure. I compared specs on both units on the Panasonic website. This was not the easiest task as it was not comparing apples to apples. The other difference I noticed is the color of the units the CG 917 is a green whereas the CG 937 is a purple color. The CG 937 has one bad review on the Panasonic website for what that's worth. All other reviews are terrific on other retail web sites.The bottom line is that I am very pleased with the CG 917. It's $50 less than the CG 937 and has all the attachments and features one looks for in a vacuum. The only thing missing with this vacuum is a light indicator when the bag gets full and theoretically this is no big deal as you can tell when the bag is starting to get full and the bag holds a lot. The only other drawback if you can call it that is that the power nozzle is quite huge. It covers a lot of space, but can be a hindrance if you're trying to move it around in small spaces. Other than that this vacuum cleaner is terrific, has lots of power, is easy to pull around, has an extra lob extension cord you will be very pleased with, not to mention the hepa air flow system, easy floor carpets adjustment levels.

Get the CG917 and you'll be happy camper.
