The description says fiber enabled, but the pix show only RJ-45 jacks. Ubiquiti website says this model can be configured either way. Does this unit have 2 SFP ports?

The ER-Pro8 has 2 SFP ports, which are shared with two of the RJ-45 ports. When you slot an SFP module in one of these ports, the corresponding RJ-45 port can not be used. But yes, it absolutely has 2 SFP ports and I've used a variety of SFP modules in those ports.

Does this unit do POE?

No POE on this device. The smaller ER-POE-5 may be what you're looking for. While not rack mountable, it is also a great router.

Can the DHCP on this router handle more than 300 users? That is can it do Class B networks?

this is a great router. We use multiple Edge Pro's in our network and the infinity at core. Yes they handle multiple networks and dhcp nicely. We do dhcp for over 600 clients on one router.

Can this do wireless, if not what should I add to it to do wireless? how about VPN?

You will need to add a wireless access point or some such as this router does NOT have WiFi broadcasting built in.

What is the max throughput on this device?

I am sure you found your answer by now, but with these devices, connected through routers and switches, we generally experienced around 350mbps.

Can you upgrade the memory in this to 4 G and if so how much would it be? Thanks
