Was this a single code for all 4 games, or were they separate keys?

No each game has its own uplay code So if there's a game you don't want you can give it to someone else as I did with blood Dragon cause I already git it free with my video card

DRM says Uplay, but will the codes work on Steam?

Unfortunately, any Far Cry title MUST be played through uPlay. It is a must. As dodgy as uPlay can be, you need to install it from the uPlay website in order to play any modern Ubisoft game.

DRM says "uPlay" because that is what you need. Despite this, you can add any Far Cry title to Steam by clicking on "+ Add Game" on the bottom left of the Steam client. You then have to browse for the .exe file (the game itself) and you can add it to your Steam library that way. However, Steam will simply load up uPlay to initiate the game.

That is still a nice way to have absolutely any game appear in your Steam library, even if it's not sold on Steam though.
